I would like to thank you for visiting our website. You will find detailed information here about our activities that promote peace and non-violence message of Buddha and highlight the Lumbini, Nepal as the birthplace of Buddha worldwide. Lumbini-Kapilvastu Day Global Movement is spread in 19 countries across the globe. Our activities are spreading without border within 19 countries. Although, we are a chapter among 19 national chapters. Most of our activities are centralized inside Belgium. This website is maintained and published by Lumbini-Kapilvastu Global Campaign, Belgium.
The intent of the campaign is also to eliminate the misinformation regarding the birthplace of Buddha. There are misinformation disseminated technically in text books of many countries since the British rule in India. Since its inception, the text books of South Korea and Sweden had been corrected and the process of correction is continued through our global campaign in USA, China, India, Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Netherlands, with the cooperation of government of Nepal.
As a part of our effort, we are promoting the message of peace and non-violence of Buddha and spreading his valuable teachings and the path he embarked on 2561 years ago.
We are providing information about Buddha, Buddhism and Peace related materials and do not have any affiliation with any individuals, religious groups and political beliefs.
