LKGCB President visited Waseda University in Japan to promote LKGCB Activities

Tokyo, 25 November 2019- Lumbini-Kapilvastu Global Campaign Belgium’s (LKGCB) President, Mr Damodar Prasad Acharya visited Waseda University in Tokyo and met Vice President of the University, Professor Norimasa Morita to promote LKGCB activities.

During the meeting, Mr Acharya emphasized the need to highlight the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini Nepal in international arena and promote his message of peace and non-violence for world peace. Mr Acharya also presented a research based novel on Buddha’s life which was written by the Global Advisor of the Lumbini-Kapilvastu Day Global Movement late Professor Kavitaram Shrestha. In addition, Mr Acharya distributed some promotional materials of the LKGC organisation to the Vice President.

LKGCB is very grateful to Professor Morita for providing his valuable time for this meeting and appreciating our activities related to non-violence and peace.

Finally, Mr Acharya would also like to thank the President of Japan Money Express, Mr Om Gurung for his companionship during this visit.
